Wave after Wave is a special 5Rhythms® dance gathering with certified teachers Julie Plotkin and Bettina Rothe: an evening of DJed music, movement, full moon ritual, and community connection.
The 5Rhythms® are a dynamic freestyle movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion it will heal itself. Dancing Wave upon Wave we practice the art of being fully alive and embodied in the present moment with all that is moving through us.
Come dive into your own deep dance and reSource… come release… come ride the Waves!

About Julie Plotkin:
Julie is passionate about bringing the community together through embodied movement. She has a deep commitment to helping people experience joy, connection, and freedom in their bodies through the 5Rhythms® movement practice, as well as a love of facilitating personal transformation and emotional healing on the dance floor.
Julie brings a clear, rooted, and grounded energy to her teachings, while at the same time lovingly inviting you to explore your growth edges. She began teaching the 5Rhythms® in 2014 and became a Heartbeat™ teacher in 2022. She says: “When I dance I feel like I have come home. I remember who I am, and fall in love with myself over and over.”

About Bettina Rothe:
Bettina Rothe is passionate about bringing the community together to co-create sacred space in which she invites conscious embodiment and heart-centred intimacy. As a somatic coach and licensed 5Rhythms® dance teacher, she draws from a variety of healing movement arts, psychology, meditation, and shamanic practices. Bettina enjoys creating ecstatic soundscapes as gateways into shared experiences of higher states of consciousness.
She has been teaching workshops internationally since 1998 and has facilitated gatherings at various festivals in the US and Canada.
